What's the difference between transcription and captions?
Transcription is only the words spoken in your video or audio transferred to text. Captions are timecoded subtitles for the original language in your video or audio. SDH Captions include speaker identification and sound description.
In what formats do you deliver Transcripts?
We can deliver Transcripts as TXT, Word, or Excel.
What if I have specific custom glossaries or style guides?
Please share them and we will be happy to create a Transcript according to your specifications.
How are your transcription rates calculated?
• Based on the actual length of the video or audio.
• Runtime is calculated to the second.
• Rates depend on the requested languages.
What’s your turnaround time for transcription?
Standard turnaround times: 2-3 business days for content 30 minutes or less in length. Please add 1 business day for each additional 30 minutes.
Rush turnaround times: 1 business days total for content of 30 minutes or less. Please add an additional day for each additional 30 minutes.
What if I need timed Captions and untimed Transcripts for the same audio or video file?
Good news! In that case, you only need to order Captions for your audio or video content and, in addition to your captioning files, you can get a TXT file of the captions at not extra charge. A TXT file will only contain the text of your audio or video content.
